Job Description:
Location: San Francisco, California (Onsite)
We are seeking a Lead Integration Engineer to design, build, and support cloud-based integration solutions. This role involves building data transfer pipelines using AWS technology in an enterprise environment. The position requires a senior-level individual with a focus on integration development, AWS-native services, infrastructure automation, secure integrations, and production support within an Agile delivery model.
- Contribute to the development, testing, implementation, and review of complex integration solutions in an agile environment.
- Provide programming support for complex solutions, developing software from established requirements and deploying code.
- Build and support serverless and API-based integrations using AWS technologies.
- Implement infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with a requirement for Terraform expertise.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for production solutions and recommend changes for development and maintenance.
- Contribute to the design of technology infrastructure, security configurations, and process improvements.
- Compile and maintain technical documentation, including use cases and scripts.
- Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements, explore existing systems, and identify potential risks.
- Participate in daily scrums and team initiatives.
- This role requires being on-site five days a week. Occasional travel may be required (up to 15%).
Experience: A senior-level candidate with approximately 10 years of experience in technology, including at least 3-5 years in Cloud technologies.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with messaging-based middleware such as IBM ACE/WebSphere MQ is required.
- Proficiency with AWS Cloud technologies (Serverless, Lambda, RDS, EC2, Storage, API Gateway).
- Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Programming experience in NodeJS or Python. Candidates with Java experience who can adapt to NodeJS will be considered.
- Intermediate experience with cloud security principles and practices (IAM roles, Kerberos, Authz, wire encryption).
- Experience with DevSecOps tools, specifically GitLab and JIRA.
- Experience with creating alerts and monitoring dashboards for metrics and logs.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with enterprise integration platforms like API-SG or MFT.
