Job Description:
Location: Tucson, Arizona (Onsite)
An experienced, and hands-on Senior Test Automation Tools Developer is sought to join a Quality Assurance Controls team. This role is responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining the automated testing frameworks for the organization’s software and hardware products.
- Developing drivers (C++, C#, Java) for use on Windows machines to facilitate automated testing with controllers that have embedded firmware.
- Development of automation tools and Python scripting.
- Developing tests that execute the interaction between firmware, software, and hardware.
- Design, develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for end-to-end scenarios, UI, Mobile, API, and hardware integration testing.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Support agile teams including platform teams who are continuously delivering.
- Troubleshoot and validate software issues.
- A bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
- At least 5 years of experience in test automation tool development for use in Quality Assurance testing activities.
- Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks, drivers, and User Interface applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, C++, and C.
- Experience with tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and Jenkins.
- Experience with relational database creation and management using SQL Server.
- A strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline integration with automation tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Ability to assist in identifying Design for Testability (DFT) requirements.
- Experience in evaluating, selecting, and implementing new automation tools and technologies.
- Experience working with irrigation products and systems.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and Zephyr.
- Familiarity with SAFe methodology.
- Test automation experience working with the integration of hardware, firmware, and software.
- Experience leveraging AI to create efficiencies within manual and automated testing.
