Job Description:
Seeking a hands‑on AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI agents powered by Claude. This is a pure IC role focused on execution—developing real-world AI solutions embedded directly into enterprise and operational workflows, not standalone experiments or POCs.
- Build and deploy AI agents using Claude to support internal and customer-facing business workflows
- Design and implement end-to-end AI use cases, from problem definition through production deployment and iteration
- Implement prompt engineering, agent logic, and tool/function calling for reliable, scalable AI behavior
- Integrate AI agents into applications via REST APIs, backend services, and existing enterprise systems
- Embed AI into core workflows (e.g., customer support, commerce operations, SDLC, finance, internal productivity tools) to drive measurable impact
- Partner with product and engineering to translate business use cases into deployed, adopted solutions
- Own production readiness: testing, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement of AI systems
- LLMs: Claude (required), other LLMs (OpenAI, etc.) a plus
- Languages: Python (required)
- APIs & Services: REST APIs, JSON, HTTP services
- AI Patterns: Prompt engineering, agent workflows, tool/function calling
- Data & Retrieval: Vector DBs (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS), embeddings, RAG
- Cloud & Dev: AWS, GCP, or Azure; Git; CI/CD
- Observability: Logging, monitoring, evaluation frameworks for AI outputs
- ~10 years of software engineering experience with strong fundamentals
- Proven, hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered applications or agents into production environments
- Demonstrated success embedding AI solutions into real enterprise or operational workflows (not isolated tools or prototypes)
- Experience taking AI use cases end-to-end:
- Problem definition
- Solution design
- Production deployment
- Adoption and iteration
- Track record of delivering measurable business impact (e.g., automation of manual tasks, cycle time reduction, improved throughput or customer experience)
- Strong experience integrating AI into existing systems, platforms, and business processes
- Comfortable operating as a hands-on IC in a fast-moving, product-driven environment
- Experience with multi-step agents, orchestration frameworks, or evaluation tooling
- Experience deploying AI in workflow-heavy environments (e.g., e-commerce, customer ops, internal tooling, transactional systems)
- Familiarity with responsible AI, guardrails, security, and data privacy considerations
- Experience instrumenting business-level metrics (adoption, efficiency gains, ROI)
