Job Description:

Apex Systems is currently hiring for a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer with one of our large Banking clients. 

 

Location: Hybrid – MINNEAPOLIS, MN; CHARLOTTE, NC ;

Onsite expectation: 3 days onsite per week

Pay range: $53.60 - $57.17/HR

Contract Length: 12 Months

Requirements: 

Top Must-Haves: 

  • 5–10 years of professional software engineering experience 
  • Strong .NET Core backend development 
  • Angular frontend experience 
  • SQL Server / relational database experience 
  • Experience working in Agile teams 

Strong Pluses: 

  • Hands-on use of GitHub Copilot in daily development 
  • Test automation experience using Playwright 
  • Familiarity with modern .NET versions (.NET 8; .NET 10 when available) 

Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to join our Minneapolis‑based engineering team. The ideal candidate brings strong backend expertise in .NET Core, hands‑on front‑end development with Angular, and deep experience working with SQL Server and Agile delivery teams. This role is suited for an engineer who is passionate about building scalable, high‑quality applications and staying current with modern .NET technologies. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core and modern .NET frameworks. 
  • Build responsive, user‑friendly front‑end components using Angular
  • Develop and optimize relational database structures and queries using SQL Server
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high‑quality software. 
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and maintainability across the full stack. 
  • Contribute to test automation, CI/CD practices, and modern engineering workflows. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Professional experience in software engineering, ideally between 5–10 years. 
  • Strong backend development skills using .NET Core
  • Hands‑on experience developing front‑end applications with Angular
  • Proficiency with SQL Server and relational database design. 
  • Proven experience working within Agile development teams. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Hands‑on experience using GitHub Copilot in daily development workflows. 
  • Test automation experience, especially with Playwright
  • Familiarity with modern .NET versions (e.g., .NET 8, and readiness for .NET 10 when released).
