Sr. Full Stack Engineer

Location: San Ramon, California (Onsite 5 days per week)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior / Lead Software Engineer to support high-priority digital initiatives. This role is designed for a hands-on engineer who can independently deliver complex projects while also accelerating team execution. You will report to a Director and play a key part in platform and performance engineering.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently lead the delivery of complex frontend and full-stack initiatives using Next.js and TypeScript.
  • Architect, build, and optimize high-performance, customer-facing web applications.
  • Partner with backend, platform, and DevOps teams to design integrations and resilient systems.
  • Identify gaps, propose improvements, and proactively support delivery.
  • Perform code reviews, influence technical decisions, and raise engineering standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and execution support to help multiple workstreams progress.
Required Qualifications

Experience: 8–12+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of owning and delivering complex systems.

 

Technical Skills: Deep, hands-on production experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript. Strong backend fluency with Python and/or Node.js, and comfort working across full-stack architectures. Solid understanding of cloud-native environments (AWS or GCP).

 

Additional Skills: Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Strong experience with modern frontend performance, SSR/SSG, SEO, and scalable UI architecture. Experience building retail, e-commerce, or large-scale customer-facing platforms.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Technically opinionated, pragmatic, and execution-driven.
  • Comfortable being the technical owner on a project.
  • Passionate about the craft, with an ability to write clean code and understand the "why."
  • Able to balance individual contribution with team impact.
