Location: Columbia, Maryland (Partial Remote)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Negotiation Program Analyst to support and scale a fast-growing negotiation function. This role is at the intersection of business operations, procurement, and vendor strategy, helping to drive cost optimization and informed decision-making across the organization. - Support the end-to-end negotiation lifecycle, including intake, preparation, execution support, and post-negotiation tracking.
- Develop comprehensive negotiation briefs that include vendor insights, contract data, renewal timelines, and market research.
- Maintain and enhance negotiation tracking tools and dashboards, ensuring accurate visibility into pipeline, risks, and opportunities.
- Manage contract and vendor data across systems, ensuring timely updates and data integrity.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, align priorities, and support negotiation strategy.
- Deliver clear, timely reporting on negotiation status, performance metrics, and realized savings.
- Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings, contract optimization, and process improvements.
- Help design and implement repeatable processes and frameworks to scale the negotiation program.
Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in business analysis, procurement, operations, or a related field. Experience supporting contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems or procurement processes is required.
Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are necessary. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is also required.
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, or negotiation support.
- Familiarity with industry research/advisory sources (e.g., Gartner, Forrester).
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Advanced Excel or data analysis skills for creating dashboards and reports.
- A self-starter who takes full ownership of their work.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- A proactive mindset, comfortable driving follow-ups and timelines independently.
- The ability to move quickly while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
