We are seeking multiple Software Developers for a 12-month contract opportunity. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining non-embedded software throughout its lifecycle. The position requires working closely with system integrations and ensuring all software products meet industry, customer, and safety standards.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software.
- Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into software designs.
- Develop, enhance, and optimize software products and functionalities for system integrations.
- Create and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software products.
- Debug and resolve issues to ensure software reliability and efficiency.
- Handle user inquiries and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Implement current and emerging technologies and tools relevant to software development.
- Perform software project management and supplier management activities.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry with 5+ years' related work experience preferred; An equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
- 3+ years of experience as a software developer is required.
- Must have coding experience, proficiency in C++, knowledge of Ada, and an understanding of hardware configuration.
- Experience with mission planning or mission computing.
- Operating Systems development experience.
- Software integration experience.
- Experience with radar systems.
- A background in the aerospace industry.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance as a condition and continuation of employment.
Other Requirements: This position requires a U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Oklahoma City. The standard work schedule is first shift. Overtime of up to 25% may be expected.
The pay rate for this position is between $50.00 and $65.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, and skills.
