The Corporate Actions Operations Specialist will support both legacy corporate actions processing and the implementation of a new platform, playing a key role in maintaining operational stability during a platform transition. This role requires learning existing workflows and technology, gaining hands-on experience with the new system, and supporting clients at different stages of migration.
- Learn and operate within the new S&P IM Actions platform, with a focus on understanding manual processing steps and operational impacts.
- Support ongoing legacy corporate actions workflows to ensure uninterrupted client service.
- Participate in production parallel and training phases as the new platform is introduced.
- Support a phased client migration approach by assisting with initial client onboarding and supporting clients not yet transitioning.
- Collaborate with experienced team members to balance institutional knowledge with new operational capacity.
- Identify issues, escalate when appropriate, and support resolution efforts within the operations team.
- Reconcile client holdings versus agent holdings to ensure accurate corporate action transaction processing.
- Ensure all relevant documentation and recordkeeping is maintained within event files.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. A degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is also preferred.
Experience: Experience in Corporate Actions operations, middle office, securities processing, or financial services processing is required. Candidates must be comfortable learning new platforms while supporting existing processes. The role requires a detail-oriented, adaptable individual who can work effectively in a transitional environment.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills, is required.
- Prior exposure to IM Actions or similar platforms is a plus, but not required.
- Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
The pay rate for this position is between $29.30 and $35.15 per hour.
