Full Stack .NET Developer

4 days a week on-site in Dallas, TX


Job Summary

We are seeking a Mid-Level .NET Software Engineer to design, build, and support scalable, service-oriented applications within a financial services environment. The ideal candidate has strong experience with modern .NET frameworks, RESTful web services, and event-driven architectures using Kafka, working in Agile teams on enterprise-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain backend services using C#, .NET (Core/6/7/8), and ASP.NET Web API
  • Design and consume RESTful and SOAP-based web services within SOA and microservices architectures
  • Build and integrate Kafka producers and consumers for real-time and asynchronous data processing
  • Participate in designing event-driven systems for high-volume financial transactions and system logs
  • Work with SQL Server and NoSQL databases to design efficient data access and persistence layers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to production releases in cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
  • Follow best practices in coding, testing, security, and documentation
Required Qualifications
  • 4–7 years of experience in .NET application development
  • Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API development
  • Hands-on experience with web services (REST/SOAP, WCF)
  • Practical experience using Apache Kafka (topics, producers, consumers)
  • Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems
  • Experience working with financial or regulated enterprise systems
  • Strong SQL skills; experience with Entity Framework / EF Core
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Azure (AKS, Azure Functions, Service Bus/Event Hub) or AWS
  • Understanding of security concepts (OAuth2, JWT, enterprise authentication)
  • Exposure to Docker and containerized deployments
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub)
