We are seeking a highly motivated and self-starting Sr. Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring the success of the team and the delivery of Business Capabilities & Solutions. This role involves managing projects within a large team that supports a major pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) and its associated pharmacies.
- Own the successful delivery of all assigned projects, managing cross-functional work stream owners.
- Document and outline project scope and charters, and manage project plans, issue logs, and lessons learned.
- Identify team roles and required skill sets to build a highly functional project team.
- Direct the team, resolve conflicts, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budgetary guidelines.
- Assess project progress, report status to management, and track timelines and milestones.
Experience: 5-7 years of project management or similar experience. This includes a background in successfully managing major projects with at least one implementation in a non-IS business function.
Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills are required, with a demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly. The role demands strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills to balance multiple priorities. Candidates must be able to direct project outcomes based on long-term business objectives.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with our client's products and services.
- Experience in Healthcare, PBM, or pharmacy sectors.
- Experience with Smartsheet.
The pay rate for this position is $39.00 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
This is a remote telecommuter role. Standard work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT, Monday through Friday, excluding company holidays. Overtime or weekend work is not a regular requirement but may be possible on occasion.
