Location: Arlington, Virginia (On-site)
An opportunity is available for an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join a lead systems integrator team. The ISSE will be responsible for designing and engineering secure, cloud-ready platforms, implementing Zero Trust–aligned controls, and automating cyber platform configuration and compliance. The role involves building guardrails to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of mission systems and hardening the cybersecurity posture of information systems.

- Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments and engineer scalable, repeatable remediations.
- Collaborate with platform engineers and mission owners to address risk through architecture choices and bring systems to ATO readiness.
- Engineer identity and access controls across applications and clusters, enforcing least privilege and just-in-time access.
- Establish telemetry and compliance automation to monitor systems for evolving threats and misconfigurations.
- Read and interpret dataflow and network diagrams, producing architecture decision records and concise engineering documentation.
