Solution Architect – Conga CLM (Delivery Lead / Product Owner) (CAD)

Job#: 3033216

Job Description:

Solution Architect – Conga CLM (Delivery Lead / Product Owner)
Overview

We are seeking a Solution Architect with deep Conga CLM expertise to provide solution leadership for Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) initiatives within a regulated healthcare environment. This role partners with business and technology stakeholders to define target-state architecture, guide delivery execution, and drive alignment across internal teams and external Systems Integrators (SIs). The Solution Architect will also function as a delivery lead and product owner—shaping the roadmap, prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring solution decisions support scalable, supportable outcomes across the CLM portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design Leadership

  • Lead solution discovery to understand business needs and translate them into scalable CLM solution approaches (process, data, integration, security, and operating model).
  • Define and maintain current-state and target-state architecture, including conceptual, logical, and physical solution views.
  • Create and socialize architectural diagrams (context diagrams, component diagrams, integration flows, sequence diagrams, data flows, and environment topology) to align stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Establish solution guardrails and reference patterns for configuration, customization, integrations, and data design within Conga CLM and its ecosystem.
  • Provide design governance through architecture reviews, technical decisioning, and solution sign-offs (as appropriate) across workstreams.

Delivery Lead / Product Owner Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to shape the product roadmap, define release themes, and support prioritization of initiatives.
  • Translate objectives into epics/features/user stories with clear acceptance criteria; support backlog refinement and sprint planning activities.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders to manage scope, sequencing, dependencies, and tradeoffs across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Support end-to-end delivery activities including planning, risk/issue management, dependency management, and readiness (UAT, cutover, adoption) in collaboration with project leadership.

Systems Integrator (SI) & Vendor Leadership

  • Provide technical leadership to external SIs/vendors, including setting direction, reviewing solution designs, validating implementation approaches, and ensuring adherence to standards.
  • Coordinate cross-vendor dependencies and help remove blockers by clarifying requirements, decisions, and implementation constraints.
  • Promote delivery quality through proactive reviews of configuration, integrations, data migration approaches, testing strategy, and release management practices.

Business Value & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve CLM operating processes, workflow automation, template/clauses models, reporting, and governance to increase business value.
  • Support practical decision-making by evaluating solution options, impacts, and risks (including compliance and audit considerations).
  • Promote maintainability and scalability by guiding documentation, support handoffs, and implementation best practices.
Technical Environment
  • CLM Platform: Conga CLM (embedded within Salesforce)
  • CRM: Salesforce
  • ERP: SAP
  • Domain Focus: Healthcare / Pharma / Payer / Provider / Manufacturer environments with contract-driven processes and regulated constraints
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect leading enterprise implementations in the Salesforce ecosystem, with deep Conga CLM experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to produce and communicate architectural diagrams and technical solution narratives to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience driving delivery through Systems Integrators and cross-functional teams, including design governance and technical leadership.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to align business, legal, compliance, and technology groups in regulated environments.
  • Hands-on familiarity with Agile delivery concepts (backlog, epics/stories, acceptance criteria, sprint planning) and product ownership practices.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with CLM/contracting platforms beyond Conga (e.g., DocuSign CLM) and contract lifecycle best practices.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce/CLM with SAP and other enterprise platforms (middleware patterns, APIs, eventing, monitoring).
  • Prior healthcare/pharma experience (or similarly regulated industries).
  • Salesforce or Conga/Apttus certifications.
