Job Description:
Location: Livermore, California (Hybrid) - 3 days onsite, 2 Remote
Employment Duration: 12+ months - potential to extend and/or convert FTE
Hourly Rate: 82-87/HR
This position requires a driven leader to architect and deliver strategic directions for the organization’s supply chain. The initial focus will be to architect a commodity supply chain to support a growing global business with a high degree of complexity. This includes aligning resources, prioritizing strategies, establishing targets, and implementing growth and cost initiatives that support the broader business strategy.
- Develop a 3-year vision, strategy, and organizational structure for assigned commodities, focusing on availability, quality, and cost.
- Manage commodities that include OEM parts.
- Architect and deliver a complete end-to-end strategy, including supplier selection, consolidation, and managing supplier investments.
- Conduct commercial negotiations to achieve annual objectives for cost, quality, lead time, and flexibility.
- Lead sourcing negotiations and execute the strategic vision by gaining executive alignment.
- Drive business processes that enable effective prioritization and facilitate faster customer solutions.
- Build and maintain a strong supply chain to support ramping demand and manage supplier relationships.
- Develop collaborative relationships with internal product groups and make decisions under pressure.
- Develop and present impactful messages to leadership, the global supply chain, suppliers, and customers.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Supply Chain, Business Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 10 years of professional working experience. Experience working with global suppliers and in a matrix organization is required.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
- ERP systems experience, specifically with SAP.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience in negotiating various types of contractual agreements.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for presenting to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- 7+ years of working experience in the Semiconductor Equipment industry.
