Location: Dearborn, Michigan (Hybrid)
Pay: 60-80/HR
We are seeking a Front End Architect to lead the design, development, and delivery of modern, scalable, and accessible web applications. This role is responsible for translating business capabilities into technical solutions, defining architecture strategies, and establishing governance practices. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in ReactJS, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Micro-Frontend Architecture, Node.js, and Cloud Technologies.
- Define and maintain front-end architecture standards, design patterns, and technical roadmaps.
- Architect, design, and deliver high-quality, performant, and accessible user interfaces using ReactJS and modern front-end technologies.
- Lead the development and maintenance of Micro-Frontend architectures using Module Federation and Single-SPA.
- Define and maintain the technical architecture for AEM-based applications, leveraging SPA (Single Page Application) and CaaS (Content as a Service) patterns.
- Develop scalable Node.js services and APIs to support full-stack application needs.
- Partner with back-end engineers, UX/UI designers, product owners, and architects to translate business requirements into solutions.
- Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD), clean code principles, and pair programming practices.
- Serve as a technical mentor to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Lead technical discovery and spike work to navigate ambiguity and inform architectural decisions.
Experience:
- 6-10 years of overall IT experience.
- 4+ years of experience in front-end architecture and modern web application development.
- Proven experience leading technical design and architecture initiatives in enterprise environments.
Technical Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency with ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with state management tools such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query.
- Hands-on experience implementing Micro-Frontend architectures using Module Federation and Single-SPA.
- Extensive experience developing and architecting Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions, including Sling Models, OSGi Services, and Headless/CaaS architectures.
- Proficiency in Node.js and Java.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Cloud Run, and containerized deployments.
- Knowledge of modern authorization and authentication mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
- Demonstrated experience with TDD, Jest, React Testing Library, and CI/CD pipelines.
Education: Bachelor's Degree
- A Master's Degree is preferred.
- Experience integrating AI/ML services into web applications.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, and AI-enabled workflows.
This is a hybrid role requiring four days onsite per week.
