Job Description:
Location: Madison, Wisconsin (Remote)
Employment Type: Contract
This position provides direct service to customer executives and related entities regarding non-qualified deferred compensation plans. The role involves working with executives, auditors, attorneys, and various internal and external departments. The coordinator will be responsible for departmental administration, operational processing, and maintaining compliance with government regulations.
- Provide professional sales and service support to representatives and executives, including research of sensitive and confidential material.
- Administer, refine, and enhance ongoing program-level services such as Required Minimum Distributions, Deferral Limit Testing, and Tax Reporting.
- Write and communicate procedures and provide training as needed.
- Conduct training and workflow direction for other positions within the work area.
- Manage department reporting and ensure data quality across multiple business lines and administration systems.
- Run reports and queries to identify and correct data inconsistencies.
- Handle other projects as assigned.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Insurance, Personal Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent professional work experience is required.
Experience: Three years of work experience with Retirement Plans, Insurance, Investments, or related products with a customer service component is necessary.
Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical plan and product administration to various audiences.
- Proven ability to work with limited direction, including time and activity prioritization.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience in a customer service environment.
- Proficiency with office automation tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify cross-selling opportunities and refer leads to sales staff.
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Examination, Series 6, and Series 65 licensing are preferred.
The pay rate for this position ranges from $30.00 to $55.00 per hour. The bill rate for this position is up to $85.00 per hour.
