The Manager, Digital Analytics is responsible for owning the analytics roadmap and helping the ecommerce organization make data-driven business decisions. The successful candidate will translate data into clear, actionable recommendations to optimize the end-to-end customer journey, improve conversion, and drive revenue. This role requires a strategic thinker who can define what to analyze and why, lead experimentation, and influence strategy across merchandising, product, and marketing teams.
- Own and drive the ecommerce analytics and optimization roadmap, defining priorities based on business objectives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in digital analytics spanning web, mobile, social, email, and media.
- Analyze end-to-end ecommerce funnel performance to identify drop-off points and opportunities for optimization.
- Lead the A/B testing and experimentation strategy, from hypothesis development to performance analysis.
- Translate data into clear business narratives that explain performance changes and tie data to customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ecommerce, merchandising, and marketing, to influence digital strategy.
- Provide proactive, insight-driven storytelling to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Mentor team members and manage one direct report, fostering a foundation of data-driven decision-making.
- Utilize analytics tools to understand data structures, customer journeys, and deliver insights.
- Use analytical SQL to explore data, join tables, and create necessary datasets for analysis.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ecommerce or transaction-based digital analytics.
- Proven experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, including a strong understanding of data structures and tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver insight-driven recommendations that impact revenue or conversion.
- Experience leading an A/B testing and experimentation strategy.
- Working knowledge of analytical SQL for building datasets (e.g., JOINs, filters).
- At least 3 years of experience leading a digital analytics team or mentoring direct reports.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or Finance.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working across multiple ecommerce brands or in a Center of Excellence (COE) model.
- Experience collaborating with offshore or global analytics teams.
- Exposure to Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) or cloud data platforms like Snowflake.
- Experience with BI visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
The anticipated compensation for this position is between USD $81,000.00 and USD $120,000.00 per year, plus a potential 10% bonus.
