Full Stack .NET Engineer

Location: San Leandro, CA / Concord, CA / San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Contract

 

Role Overview

In this contingent resource assignment, you may consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives within Software Engineering. This role involves reviewing and analyzing software engineering challenges, contributing to their resolution, and collaborating with personnel while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, and compliance requirements. This position is ideal for a hands-on full stack engineer with expertise in .NET/C# and strong database skills.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack enterprise applications using .NET / .NET Core (C#).
  • Build and optimize backend services and RESTful APIs.
  • Develop and maintain data access layers using Entity Framework/Core.
  • Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
  • Implement event-driven solutions using event streaming tools.
  • Develop front-end components using modern UI practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues with root cause analysis.
  • Ensure application scalability, performance, and security in a regulated environment.
  • Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams including product, architecture, and DevOps.

 

Required Qualifications

Experience: 4–5+ years of full stack development experience using .NET / .NET Core (C#) and Entity Framework.

 

Technical Skills: Strong database experience with Oracle and SQL, including performance tuning and stored procedures. Experience building APIs and working with event streaming tools such as Kafka.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Front-end experience with React (or Angular) and modern UI practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Harness, Jenkins) and DevOps practices.
  • Cloud experience (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).
  • Exposure to OpenShift or Kubernetes environments.
  • Familiarity with GitHub and Copilot for development productivity.
