Job Description:

AI Automation Analyst

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking an operator/engineer to design, build, and run “digital employees” that automate low-value, repetitive work. This role will focus on processes across confirmation, settlement, static data, reconciliations, and break management to improve STP, accuracy, and cycle times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify automation opportunities by mapping workflows, control points, and exception paths; quantify benefits such as STP, break reduction, and cycle time.
  • Build AI-assisted automations for confirmations, settlements, static data setup and maintenance, and break classification and triage.
  • Integrate systems via APIs, messaging, and files; implement robust validation, monitoring, logging, and audit trails, including maker/checker and human-in-the-loop processes where necessary.
  • Operate and iterate using KPIs, including STP percentage, break rates, MTTR, and accuracy, to drive continuous improvement and resilience.
  • Partner with Operations SMEs, Technology, and Risk/Compliance to ensure secure, compliant deployments and strong release and change practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on skills in Python, APIs, SQL, and workflow orchestration.
  • Experience with agent-based automation, prompt/policy design, classification/categorization, retrieval-augmented workflows, and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of the trade lifecycle, exception management, and control frameworks such as maker/checker, audit trails, evidence capture, and data quality.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills with an emphasis on end-to-end ownership.
Success Metrics
  • Achieve higher STP and increased volume of automated tasks.
  • Reduce the number of breaks and accelerate resolution times.
  • Obtain accuracy and precision gains in automated processes.
  • Ensure robust audit evidence and timely escalations.
