Senior Solution Architect – Enterprise Integration & Data Migration

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect to support a large-scale enterprise transformation initiative involving the replacement of a core system by 2027. This system is critical to organizational operations, driving data and decision-making across more than 70 dependent teams.

 

This role focuses on integration planning and data migration, requiring deep technical expertise, hands-on execution, and strong coordination across complex environments. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can also dive into implementation details, ensuring solutions are both scalable and deliverable within tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design and implementation of integration and migration solutions for a core enterprise system replacement.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive integration and data migration strategy.
  • Collaborate with 70+ technical stakeholders to understand system dependencies, requirements, and constraints.
  • Design and oversee API integrations, ETL/data pipelines, and system interoperability.
  • Coordinate across complex technical ecosystems to ensure seamless integration and system continuity.
  • Analyze and improve data flows and business processes for efficiency and scalability.
  • Partner with cross-functional roles including Engagement Managers, Developers, and other Architects to deliver complete solutions.
  • Produce and maintain high- and mid-level architecture documentation.
  • Ensure delivery against tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
  • Identify pragmatic solutions that balance technical complexity, business requirements, and timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of experience in a comparable role (Senior-level experience).
  • Proven experience in enterprise architecture, application design, and system integration within large organizations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • API development and integration
    • ETL/data migration processes
    • Messaging middleware and application integration frameworks
  • Deep understanding of web architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience working in mission-critical mid-tier production environments.
  • Solid development experience involving large distributed systems across multiple platforms.
  • Proficiency with technologies such as:
    • Java/J2EE application servers (WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss)
    • XML, MQ, JSP, JNDI, JMS, EJB, JDBC
    • Oracle and legacy system integration
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design, including UML, use cases, and RUP methodology.
  • Experience coordinating across complex technical environments and multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) or Web Services frameworks.
  • Background in leading or contributing to large-scale system migrations or enterprise transformations.
  • Familiarity with modern and emerging integration technologies and standards.
