Category Manager II (Strategic Sourcing) – Global Procurement
  • Duration: 12-month contract with potential for extension or conversion
  • Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

We’re looking for a Category Manager who can move beyond tactical execution and truly own end-to-end category strategy—partnering with stakeholders, optimizing supplier performance, and delivering measurable business outcomes.

What You’ll Do
  • Own and execute end-to-end category strategy across a high-spend portfolio ($50M+)
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, negotiations, and supplier selection
  • Manage and optimize supplier relationships and performance
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive cost savings, efficiency, and innovation
  • Leverage data to inform decisions and improve category performance and outcomes
  • Contribute to process improvements and procurement transformation initiatives
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of strategic sourcing or category management experience
  • Experience executing sourcing strategies at a country, regional, or global level
  • Proven ability to own category strategy, not just support buying activities
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Experience
  • Background in a large, fast-paced environment (tech or similarly complex organizations)
  • Familiarity with procurement systems and tools
  • Exposure to international sourcing and supplier networks

Compensation & Benefits

The pay rate for this position is between $30.00 and $40.00 per hour. Specific benefits available to contract employees may be discussed during the application process.
