Summary: 

The Sr. Empower Consultant supports a global LabVantage LIMS implementation by configuring, validating, and supporting Empower chromatography systems integrated with LabVantage. This role ensures GMP-compliant Empower project structures, methods, and integrations are production-ready to support QC laboratory operations during verification, cutover, and go-live. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage Empower project structures, including parent and method-specific projects 
  • Configure, update, and deploy Sample Set, Processing, and Report Methods as required 
  • Support LabVantage–Empower integration testing, verification, and defect resolution 
  • Execute Empower system verification and support CSV documentation 
  • Support cutover and go-live activities, including final method deployment 
  • Provide real-time troubleshooting support to QC laboratories during initial system use 

Key Deliverables:

  • Configured and baselined Empower project structures 
  • Approved Empower methods, templates, and verification records 
  • Integration verification and CSV documentation 
  • Go-live readiness confirmation and issue resolution documentation 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Waters Empower in GMP environments 
  • Strong understanding of chromatography workflows and QC laboratory operations 
  • Experience supporting system validation and regulated system integrations 
  • Ability to troubleshoot Empower configuration, method execution, and reporting issues 
  • Experience collaborating with QA, QC, IT, and validation teams 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience integrating Empower with LabVantage LIMS 
  • Exposure to global or multi-site pharmaceutical deployments 
  • Familiarity with change control and GMP documentation workflows 
  • Comfortable remotely supporting instruments and partnering with Validation Engineers/CSV Engineers on integration
