Location: Buena Vista, Florida 32830 (Onsite)
We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to evolve the cloud infrastructure that powers analytical systems, optimization engines, and machine learning pipelines. In this role, you will design scalable architectures for data-intensive workloads, define infrastructure standards using Terraform, and ensure the reliability and cost-efficiency of systems that directly drive business decisions. This position requires a strong computing background, a systems mindset, and the ability to deliver solutions to complex problems.
- Design and implement scalable cloud architectures for data-intensive workloads.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure standards using Terraform, including module development and CI-driven workflows.
- Ensure the reliability and cost-efficiency of systems supporting analytics, optimization, and machine learning.
- Collaborate with analytics and data science teams to support machine learning workloads.
- Create and maintain application and network architecture diagrams.
- Manage and optimize cloud costs and FinOps practices.
- Implement and manage observability platforms such as Datadog, New Relic, or CloudWatch.
Candidates should have a natural curiosity to understand the 'why' behind business performance, take a proactive role in problem-solving, be results-oriented, and be able to prioritize in a collaborative environment. This role requires a strong computing background and a systems-oriented mindset.
- Deep Terraform expertise, including module development, state management, and CI-driven plan/apply workflows.
- Experience with AWS AI/ML services such as Bedrock or SageMaker.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional).
- Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
- Experience with observability platforms like Datadog, New Relic, or CloudWatch.
- Experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
- Experience with non-relational, NoSQL, and semi-structured databases.
- Experience creating application and network architecture diagrams.
- Understanding of data science concepts and experience supporting ML workloads.
- Experience with Azure or GCP in addition to AWS.
- Experience within the entertainment or media industries.
