Job Title: ServiceNow Lead Engineer (Vulnerability Response)
Location: Charlotte, NC / McLean, VA / Minneapolis, MN / San Antonio, TX / Chandler, AZ – Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Contract Length: 12 months
Pay Rate: $69/hr - $74/hr

We are seeking a ServiceNow Lead Software Engineer to join a Cybersecurity group. This role will lead the implementation and support of the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) module. You will partner with technical governance, platform architecture, and other developers to ensure designs align with enterprise solutions and take on development responsibilities for cybersecurity vulnerability remediation applications.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) solutions.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow applications using scripting, build workflows, and automate business processes.
- Develop and maintain integrations with external cybersecurity tools and platforms.
- Lead complex technology initiatives, acting as an escalation point for platform issues.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with governance, architecture, and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and documentation of software deliverables.
- Manage deployment activities and provide L3 production support.
- Create and maintain technical documentation in Confluence.
- Participate in Agile delivery processes and contribute to sprint execution.
Experience:
- 7+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow Application development, installation, or troubleshooting.
- 5+ years of experience with service-oriented architecture methods.
- 1+ years of experience with web technologies including JavaScript (ES5+), HTML, CSS/SCSS, and SQL.
Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR).
- Certification as a ServiceNow Implementation Specialist for Vulnerability Response.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS or React.
- 2+ years of experience with RESTful or SOAP web services.
- 2+ years of Agile experience.
- Integration experience with tools like Qualys, Wiz, NVD, or Phosphorus.
- ServiceNow micro-certifications (e.g., Service Portal, ATF, Flow Designer, Integration Hub).
- Experience in a cybersecurity or vulnerability management environment.
