Job Title: ServiceNow Lead Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC / McLean, VA / Minneapolis, MN / San Antonio, TX / Chandler, AZ – Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Contract Length: 12 months

Pay Rate: $69/hr - $74/hr

Role Overview:


We are seeking a ServiceNow Lead Software Engineer to lead, implement, and support the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) module within our client's Cybersecurity group. This role will consult on complex initiatives, review and analyze large-scale software engineering challenges, and contribute to resolving multifaceted situations. You will partner with Technical Governance, Platform Architecture, and other developers to ensure designs and coding practices align with scalable enterprise solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of solutions for all components of the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) product.
  • Design, code, configure, unit test, and maintain software deliverables using established standards and tools.
  • Lead complex technology initiatives and serve as an escalation point for less experienced staff.
  • Ensure that solutions are secure, scalable, and comply with defined standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with technical experts, peers, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.
  • Develop workflows and scripts to personalize existing ServiceNow applications and automate business processes.
  • Manage API integrations with external systems and security platforms.
  • Participate in an Agile framework to deliver ServiceNow solutions.
  • Engage in L3 production support and manage deployment processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing applications.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow Application development, installation, or troubleshooting.
  • 5+ years of experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA) methods.
  • 1+ years of experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, ES5+, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and SQL.
  • Certification as a ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA).
  • Certification as a ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response.
  • Certification as a ServiceNow Implementation Specialist for Vulnerability Response.
  • Experience with RESTful or SOAP web services.
  • Experience in an Agile environment.
  • Micro-certifications in Service Portal, ATF, Flow Designer, or IntegrationHub.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or React.
  • Integration experience with tools such as Qualys, Wiz, NVD, or Phosphorus.
