Job Description:

Apex Systems is hiring a Program Manager for a large Healthcare client.

Location: Fully remote anywhere in the United States - preferred states are WA, OR, CA, CO, GA, MD/VA/DC area.

This is a 5-month contract with possibility to extend or convert.

 

Role Overview

An integrated healthcare company is seeking an experienced Program Manager to organize and lead multiple business-critical initiatives supporting the Marketing Analytics team. This role involves managing a complex group of portfolio projects and acting as a change agent. A successful candidate will be confident in bringing their own skills and project management toolbox to organize project teams with limited guidance and ensure the program delivers against expected measures.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and lead multiple business-critical initiatives.
  • Manage a complex group of portfolio projects and act as a change agent.
  • Maintain a strategic focus and manage complex inter-project relationships.
  • Lead large project teams of 20 or more active individuals.
  • Manage supply and demand to ensure adequate resources are available and delivery commitments are met.
  • Act as the primary interface for business partners and the initiative.
  • Manage timelines, status reports, and statistics.
  • Lead a cross-functional team while motivating team members.
  • Be hands-on in learning subject matter and facilitating the production of deliverables.
  • Utilize knowledge of Change Management to guide projects.
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree is required.

 

Experience: 10+ years of related experience, including leading large project teams (20+ active individuals) with a broad portfolio of topics such as IT/data, Marketing Campaigns, Research, Health Care Operations, Data/Analytics, and Operational Readiness.

 

Technical Skills: Proficiency with project management tools and processes.

 

Certifications: PMP certification is required.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • An MBA is preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
