Location: Remote, California (Remote)
COMPENSATION: $53 - $63 HOURLY
Seeking a Program Manager to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives across product launches, regulatory compliance programs, and strategic legal initiatives. This role requires hands-on program management in tech, a bias toward operational efficiency, and the ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels.
- Own end-to-end legal program management for hardware product launches across multiple concurrent programs, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, and cross-functional deliverables.
- Coordinate legal requirements involving regulatory and compliance programs.
- Navigate between program-level strategy and task-level execution, ensuring smooth handoffs and transitions.
- Serve as a key liaison between legal team members and cross-functional partners, aligning timelines and surfacing interdependencies.
- Build and maintain trackers, dashboards, and status reporting to provide stakeholders with clear visibility into project health.
- Proactively identify risks and blockers, manage escalation processes, and drive resolution.
- Run retrospectives and document lessons learned to strengthen future execution.
- Develop and standardize playbooks, templates, and repeatable frameworks for legal program execution.
- Explore and adopt AI tools where applicable to streamline workflows, including meeting summaries, status reporting, and process documentation.
- Support the rollout of new systems, tools, and programs across the legal team, driving adoption through training and change management.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in program or project management.
Experience: 3+ years of program management experience in the technology industry, within 6+ years of overall professional experience. A proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects with interdependencies and competing deadlines is required. Experience working in policy, compliance, legal, or regulatory environments is necessary.
Skills: Proficiency with program or project management practices, tools, and methodology (e.g., RACI/RAID frameworks, project trackers, risk registers). Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for various audiences. Must be comfortable operating in ambiguity within a fast-paced, evolving environment.
