Job Description:
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid or Onsite, as applicable)
Duration: 6-Month Contract
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer for a 6-month contract engagement based in Charlotte, NC. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing and creating high-quality visual assets that support commercial and promotional initiatives across a variety of channels. This role requires strong creative skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting budget and schedule requirements.
- Design and create graphics to support commercial and promotional needs, including:
- Packaging
- Displays
- Print projects
- Websites
- Logos
- Develop layout specifications and animations for electronic and digital products.
- Use a variety of media and techniques to achieve artistic, decorative, and brand-aligned effects.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including:
- Printers
- Copywriters
- Photographers
- Other designers
- Account executives
- Web designers
- Marketing specialists
- Manage projects to defined budgets and timelines while maintaining quality standards.
- Archive, organize, and retrieve artwork and electronic files in accordance with company standards.
- Apply an understanding of material costs, production methods, and time constraints to inform design decisions.
- Stay current with the latest design tools, software packages, and industry trends.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a commercial or marketing-driven environment.
- Strong proficiency with current graphic design software and computer packages.
- Solid understanding of print and digital production processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; able to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Experience with animation and electronic/digital product design.
- Familiarity with web design principles and digital marketing assets.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
