Color Designer

Location: Beaverton, Oregon (On-site)

 

Role Overview

We are seeking a Color Designer to provide project support for a product line team. This role involves working on multisport projects, including football, training, and golf. The position requires a creative individual with a strong understanding of color application for footwear and apparel, a passion for sport, and an understanding of streetwear aesthetics.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and apply color designs for footwear and apparel across various sport categories.
  • Utilize a strong sense of color theory, including trends, mixing, compatibility, and material application.
  • Collaborate effectively with the product line team to achieve project goals.
  • Manage time and organizational tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Contribute a positive and collaborative attitude to the team environment.
  • A portfolio submission is required for consideration.
Required Qualifications

Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in footwear or apparel color design.

 

Technical Skills: Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite is required. Candidates must demonstrate a strong sense of color theory, understanding color trends, mixing, compatibility, placement, and materials. A sense of aesthetic style and a passion for sport are necessary.

 

Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills are required. The role demands a positive attitude and the ability to drive collaboration.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience with digital AI tools is considered a bonus.
  • Previous experience with the client's brand is highly preferred.
