Job Title: Information Security Engineer 3 / Data Engineer (IAM Data Lake – GCP)
Location: Columbus, OH / Irving (Las Colinas), TX – Hybrid
Contract Length: 12mo
Pay Rate: $53 - $57
- 4+ years of data engineering experience with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise
- Hands-on experience building data lakes and data pipelines (batch & streaming)
- Strong experience with PySpark, Airflow, and Hadoop ecosystem
- Experience working with IAM data or security data platforms
- Experience with Pub/Sub streaming architectures and event-driven design
- Experience with columnar data formats (Parquet, Avro, ORC)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and API integration
- Knowledge of Change Data Capture (CDC) and incremental ingestion patterns
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Information Security Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Information Security Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others while leveraging solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Information Security Engineering.
- Design and build IAM Data Lake solutions on Google Cloud Platform
- Structure and manage GCP storage buckets, naming standards, lifecycle policies, and access controls
- Develop scalable batch and streaming data ingestion pipelines
- Build and maintain pipelines using PySpark, Airflow, and GCP-native tools
- Implement streaming architectures using Pub/Sub and event-driven design
- Develop APIs and data services to expose curated datasets
- Work with columnar formats (Parquet, Avro, ORC) and optimize compression strategies
- Implement data modeling and transformation logic for analytics and security use cases
- Apply incremental ingestion and CDC patterns for efficient data updates
- Support IAM-related data use cases and security analytics platforms
- Ensure data access, governance, and compliance standards are enforced
- Work with security, engineering, and business teams to deliver data solutions
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployment and version control
- Document data flows, schemas, and architecture designs
