Job Description:
Apex Systems is seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to support hands-on data collection activities in a fast-paced, team-oriented lab environment.
This is an entry-level role that does not require prior robotics or technical experience. Team members will operate provided equipment, follow structured step-by-step instructions, and complete assigned workflows that support data collection and operational objectives.
Due to client confidentiality, project-specific details will be shared at the appropriate stage of the hiring and onboarding process. Candidates will receive the information needed to understand the role before beginning work, while client, product, and program details remain confidential.
- Monday-Friday 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
- Operate data collection systems by following standardized, step-by-step instructions
- Use tablets, handheld devices, or similar tools to guide and record assigned task steps
- Perform hands-on data collection activities that may involve repeated use of hands, wrists, arms, and upper body movement
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail during structured workflows
- Work at an assigned station for extended portions of the shift while following established procedures and productivity expectations
- Assist with basic equipment setup, positioning, movement, and reset activities
- Follow all safety, confidentiality, and site-specific procedures
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding workflow issues, equipment concerns, or task updates
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Complete required training and follow all applicable policies and procedures
- Ability to follow detailed instructions with a high level of accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in task execution
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable performing structured, process-driven work for extended periods
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, professional, and confidential work environment
- Ability to follow site-specific procedures, safety expectations, and confidentiality requirements
- Experience in a lab, warehouse, manufacturing, operations, or production environment is helpful but not required
- Experience using tablets, handheld devices, or similar equipment is helpful but not required
- Prior experience in structured or process-driven work environments is a plus

This role may include:
- Sitting and/or standing at an assigned workstation for extended periods
- Repeated use of hands, wrists, arms, and upper body movement during assigned tasks
- Handling equipment, devices, tools, controls, or materials as directed
- Performing structured tasks while maintaining accuracy, quality, and safety expectations
- Occasional movement between work areas, stations, or support tasks as needed
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, or moving items up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis
- Working in a controlled lab environment with moderate noise levels and standard operating conditions
- Following ergonomic guidance, task rotation practices, break procedures, PPE requirements, and restricted-area protocols
