Editor - Editor II

Location: Seattle, Washington (Onsite)

 

Role Overview

An opportunity is available for an enthusiastic, creative editor to help build a best-of-breed Video Games store. The Editor will support Senior Editors and Merchandisers, and will help drive projects and initiatives to improve the shopping experience. The successful candidate will work with internal and external resources to achieve these goals.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage internal resources to provide thorough and authoritative detail page content.
  • Work closely with merchandising, buying, and category management teams to optimize promotional efforts.
  • Effectively merchandise products both within the Video Games store and across the e-commerce platform.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of merchandising efforts.
  • Help drive the merchandising of products that require accurate, detailed information to gain customer trust.
Required Qualifications

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to consistently meet deadlines, manage multiple large and small projects simultaneously, and communicate professionally with teams, vendors, and management. A passion for video games, including console, PC, and handheld formats, is required.

 

Experience: Experience in merchandising or product programming in a fast-paced environment is required.

 

Technical Skills: The ability to quickly learn in-house tools is necessary.


Compensation: $26 - $36 hourly

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous XML experience is a plus.
