Location: tulsa, Oklahoma (Onsite)
This position provides senior-tier telecommunications inventory expertise to prepare legacy inventory data for migration into a new environment. The role focuses on data mapping, requirements development, and migration fallout reconciliation. This is a senior lead position that involves driving requirements-gathering, defining deliverables for downstream teams, and performing quality checks for the broader team.
- Prepare legacy-to-new migration paths by analyzing source data, defining the cutover approach, and shaping the operational plan.
- Lead data mapping to translate legacy inventory records into the target schema and document field-level mappings.
- Develop requirements for provisioning, design, and grooming functions, capturing business and technical needs for execution teams.
- Lead requirements-gathering conversations with stakeholders and translate operational requests into actionable migration plans.
- Conduct circuit-level analysis across Ethernet, Transport, Voice, and Offnet services to validate migration accuracy.
- Cleanse and reconcile data migration fallout by identifying and resolving inventory mismatches.
- Coordinate escalations across internal teams and integration partners.
- Document migration patterns, mapping decisions, and recurring data issues for continuous improvement.
- Mentor and quality-check work from other team members.
- Telecommunications background in one or more of the following: Ethernet (Metro 1, Metro 2, Metro 3), Transport (DWDM, TDM), Voice, or Offnet.
- Experience with telecommunications systems such as Amdocs/ASRI, PRO, and TIRKS.
- Hands-on data mapping experience, translating legacy inventory records into a target schema.
- Requirements development experience, with the ability to capture business and technical needs and translate them into specifications.
- Ability to recognize and reconcile data inconsistencies between legacy systems and the target environment.
- Senior-level domain depth to serve as a subject matter expert on circuit-level inventory questions.
- Communication skills to interface directly with stakeholders and lead requirements-gathering conversations.
- Comfort operating in environments with incomplete or ambiguous information.
- Hands-on experience with prior telecommunication inventory environments from providers such as CenturyLink, Level 3, or Qwest.
- Prior experience supporting a carrier inventory migration or consolidation program.
- Familiarity with adjacent LEC backgrounds such as Sprint, Frontier, Windstream, or comparable carriers.
- 7+ years in telecom carrier environments with at least 3 years in inventory, migration, or service activation roles.
- Experience operating in tiered support models or large-scale telecom transformation programs.
- Experience working in blended or follow-the-sun team structures across multiple geographies.
