Client Reporting Specialist

Location: Fort Mill, South Carolina (Hybrid) (3 days onsite)

Pay Rate: $16-$19/hr W2

Contract length: 12-18 months with potential for conversion

 

Role Overview

We are seeking a Client Reporting Specialist for a position with a financial services client. This role involves providing technical support and conducting in-depth conversations with advisors to help them understand reporting tools, performance data, and customization options. The specialist will handle inbound calls, maintain detailed notes, and manage daily workflows in a dynamic environment.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier I technical support for designated proprietary software products via phone and email.
  • Conduct conversations to help advisors understand reporting tools, performance data, and report customization.
  • Assist advisors in building customizable reports using a 16-template reporting tool, handling approximately 12-15 inbound calls per day.
  • Provide detailed and comprehensive incident documentation in the incident tracking database.
  • Explain subscription options to ensure advisors can use the tool effectively.
  • Maintain detailed notes, stay organized, and manage daily workflow.
  • Properly escalate incidents to management as needed.

 

Required Qualifications

Experience: Requires at least one year of experience in a similar position. Experience in a software development customer service environment is preferred.

 

Technical Skills: Solid working knowledge of PC-based computer hardware and software is required. The candidate should be tech-savvy and comfortable navigating reporting tools and Microsoft Office.

 

Professional Skills: Strong problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills are necessary. The role requires the ability to explain concepts clearly, build rapport, and work independently to identify problems and implement solutions. Candidates must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask and work under pressure.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A drive to learn the financial services industry.
  • A client-facing mindset with a focus on service and relationship building.

 

Work Environment

The agent works in an office environment with a hybrid schedule, requiring presence in the office from Monday to Wednesday. The work involves sitting at a desk for extended periods, frequently answering telephone calls, and using a keyboard for written communication. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate.
