Job Description:
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (Onsite)
We are seeking a motivated IT Project Manager to manage delivery efforts within the Trade Surveillance space. This role involves detailed planning of work and funding across the portfolio, developing and providing regular reporting to senior management, and engaging with internal business partners. The successful candidate will help drive transformation and strategic efforts within a dynamic Global Risk Technology team.
- Monitor and report on project status, including producing monthly project decks, roadmaps, and status reports.
- Manage planning and delivery by overseeing the intake, prioritization, and scheduling of new work.
- Handle project financials, including arranging for funding, tracking expenses, and resolving variances.
- Coordinate annual initiative planning, document processes, and represent the portfolio to external teams.
- Drive the adoption and enforcement of enterprise standards across the portfolio in collaboration with scrum masters.
- Conduct Jira monitoring to ensure data quality and proper alignment of activity categories.
- Create and track project milestones, reporting any deviations, risks, or issues.
- Present project status and team accomplishments to various levels of management.
Technical Skills: Project management in both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies; proficiency with Actimize and Informatica tools; experience creating and managing complex projects in Microsoft Project or similar tools; using Jira for Scrum and Kanban projects; SQL and data analysis.
Experience: Experience in business analysis, trade surveillance/compliance, and audit/governance; demonstrated ability in creating and tracking milestones; experience presenting project updates to management.
- Prior experience with the Surveillance Technology Project Management team.
- Experience with internal systems and processes around audit issues tracking.
- Knowledge of the Trade Surveillance space.
- Detail-oriented, self-organizing, and able to communicate clearly and concisely in various formats.
