Regulated Voice Recording Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ / Charlotte NC (Onsite)

Duration: 12 months

 

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regulated Voice Recording Engineer. The candidate will have in-depth technical experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of NICE voice recording systems, both on-premise and in the cloud, that comply with industry regulations. The role requires organizational and program management skills to help drive and oversee global initiatives in a regulated voice recording environment.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deploy, and maintain voice recording solutions that meet regulatory standards, ensuring seamless integration with adjunct voice technology platforms.
  • Manage the transition of technology changes and technical projects within the Regulated Voice Recording environment.
  • Translate requests into a technical scope of work and evaluate user impact to create an execution strategy, including pre-implementation, cutover, and post-change validation tasks.
  • Ensure all voice recording systems adhere to industry standards and are compliant with jurisdictional requirements.
  • Work with telephony systems, PBX, VoIP systems, and cloud-based platforms to integrate voice recording solutions.
  • Develop risk mitigation plans for pre, during, and post-transformation activities.
  • Ensure the migration process adheres to change control, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure proper understanding, documentation, and implementation of business requirements.
  • Effectively communicate program status updates to key business stakeholders and upcoming project work to senior technology leadership.
Required Qualifications

Experience:

  • 10 years of experience working on technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering technology solutions; voice and video experience is preferred but not required.
  • A progressive mentality to consistently optimize existing practices and reduce time-to-market for programs and tasks.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in database navigation scripting in MySQL and MSSQL.
  • Experience with applications and software tools such as NICE NTR, NICE NTRX, NICE NTRX Cloud, Compass, Sentinel, and IPC Unigy.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and services.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Visio.

  • Analytical and organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to determine an effective course of action as required.
  • Ability to review, understand, and interpret technology updates for applicability in the supported environment.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers and leadership.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
