SAS Developer (SSRS)

We are currently seeking a SAS Developer at Top 5 Canadian bank. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, with 5+ years of experience in data and analytics, preferably within banking or financial services, supporting financial or revenue-related data processes.

Our client’s Personal & Business Banking Scorecard team focuses on performance analytics, compensation processing, operational data workflows, and data reconciliation. This role supports both execution and enhancement of recurring processes, ensuring data integrity and enabling effective support for business and finance stakeholders.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions to support business operations and decision-making
  • Manage and enhance internal databases, including data extraction, transformation, and structural improvements
  • Oversee automated data processes to ensure data integrity, operational stability, and reliability
  • Support infrastructure improvements to enhance automation efficiency and strengthen risk management

Skills & Experience:

  • Solid working knowledge of data analysis tools, including SAS and SQL, with the ability to query, join, and troubleshoot large datasets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to implement complex business logic and build scalable, reliable data solutions
  • Experience building reports, dashboards, and visualizations using SSRS (Power BI is a plus)
  • Working knowledge of data reconciliation, validation, and data quality processes
  • Experience with Linux for automation
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines

 

Working Model: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

Location: Toronto, ON
