Senior Salesforce Business Systems Analyst
Position Overview

The Senior Salesforce Business Systems Analyst will lead the analysis, design, and implementation efforts for a large-scale Salesforce org consolidation initiative, merging Service Cloud capabilities into a unified Sales Cloud environment supporting 3000+ users.

This role is responsible for driving business process harmonization, data alignment, and solution design while acting as the key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align technology solutions with business strategy
  • Gather, analyze, and translate requirements into:
    • User stories
    • Acceptance criteria
    • Functional specifications
  • Develop and maintain:
    • End-to-end process flows
    • Story maps
    • Use cases and wireframes
Salesforce Org Consolidation & Solution Design
  • Lead consolidation of multiple Salesforce orgs into a single unified Sales Cloud instance
  • Define and support:
    • Target-state data model and object design
    • Field rationalization and object consolidation
  • Evaluate and rationalize:
    • Automation (Flows, Apex, validation rules, assignment rules)
    • Conflicting business processes
Data Migration & Integration
  • Support data migration strategy including:
    • Data mapping
    • Deduplication
    • Data quality standards
  • Assess and document impacts to integrations, including:
    • Back-office systems
    • Marketing platforms (e.g., Eloqua, Marketo)
    • Reporting tools (e.g., Looker)
    • Outlook and other enterprise applications
Security & Governance
  • Define and align Salesforce security model including:
    • Roles and role hierarchy
    • Profiles and permission sets
    • Sharing rules
  • Ensure governance and scalability of the solution across the enterprise
Stakeholder Management & Delivery
  • Act as liaison between Business, IT, and Executive stakeholders
  • Drive alignment across merging organizations and resolve competing priorities
  • Communicate risks, progress, and decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate closely with Admins, Developers, Architects, and Project Managers
Testing, Training & Deployment
  • Support UAT planning, test case creation, and execution
  • Validate delivered solutions meet business requirements
  • Develop training materials and provide change management support
  • Support cutover planning and deployment readiness
Key Deliverables
  • Current-state documentation (process maps, system inventory, data model analysis)
  • Future-state process designs
  • Requirements documentation (user stories, functional specs)
  • Data mapping & field rationalization matrix
  • Security model documentation
  • Integration impact assessments
  • UAT test scripts and execution support
  • Training and change management materials
  • Cutover readiness checklist
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce Business Analysis
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Salesforce platform capabilities and architecture
    • Security model (roles, profiles, permission sets)
    • Automation tools (Flows, Apex, validation rules)
  • Proven experience with:
    • Salesforce org consolidation or large-scale transformations
    • Data migration, deduplication, and master data management
    • Process harmonization across complex organizations
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Salesforce certifications preferred

Pay Rate: $65- 75/hr
