Product Manager, Core Processing Platform

Location: Brookfield, Wisconsin (Onsite)

 
Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile Product Manager to function as a business-side Product Owner. This individual will drive delivery at the team level, aligning with a complex, "Agilish" operating model within a highly regulated environment. The role is responsible for maximizing product value by owning and prioritizing the product backlog for internally developed platforms that support Commercial and Financial Institution partners. This position serves as a critical bridge between business, operations, and technology teams to optimize delivery and enhance outcomes.

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Own, refine, and prioritize the product backlog to align with strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and business outcomes.
  • Define clear user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure alignment across business and technology teams.
  • Balance competing priorities across operational needs, configuration changes, and feature enhancements.
  • Drive iterative, Agile delivery across scrum teams using feedback loops and sprint cadences.
  • Partner with delivery teams to remove blockers and optimize workflow, ensuring alignment between business intent and technical execution.
  • Coordinate across onshore and offshore teams while navigating complex business processes and dependencies.
  • Act as a connector across strategy, operations, and engineering teams.
Required Qualifications

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience as a self-starter who is autonomous and accountable.
  • Proven ability to work alongside or integrate with mainframe-based systems.
  • Comfortable working in a green screen, mainframe environment.
  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Solid technical and analytical aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in the Credit Card or Payments industry.
  • Experience developing end-to-end system overviews and documentation to support implementations.
  • Experience with process mapping, workflow diagramming, and operational flows.
  • Familiarity with Change Management and governance processes.
