Job Description:
Location: San Diego, CA - 3 days onsite, 2 Remote
Large Banking Client
Duration: 3+ months - potential to extend
Overview:
Our large financial client is seeking an IT GRC Analyst to support SOX ITGC and financial controls testing efforts. This role will focus on audit readiness, control validation, and partnering with internal teams and external auditors during a high-volume audit cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform SOX ITGC and financial controls testing
- Validate control design and operating effectiveness
- Support audit readiness activities and documentation preparation
- Partner with business and technology teams to gather evidence
- Assist external auditors with requests and inquiries
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in IT risk, GRC, or compliance
- Hands-on experience with SOX testing and control validation
- Strong understanding of ITGC environments
- Experience with Microsoft Office, JIRA, and Box
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Project Details:
- Support increased SOX testing workload due to team bandwidth constraints
- Focus on ITGC and financial controls across multiple business units
- High exposure to audit processes and cross-functional stakeholders
- CISSP, GIAC, or CISM certifications are highly desired.S
