We are seeking a Database Security Administrator to support, troubleshoot, and provision the current database and systems platform from a security perspective. This role is central to a project of migrating systems into CyberArk and requires a candidate with a strong background in database administration and security, particularly with identity management. The contract is for one year.
- Support, troubleshoot, and provision the database and systems platform.
- Implement new managed and unmanaged service accounts in Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Snowflake, and AWS Aurora.
- Provide and verify access for users and service accounts based on security protocols and business needs.
- Create platform-based accounts and manage passwords for the automation of application jobs across development, test, and production environments.
- Ensure user and service accounts with elevated access are approved according to information security standards.
- Collaborate with technical teams for issue resolution and mitigation.
- Troubleshoot access issues with service accounts, including issues related to the CyberArk implementation.
- Respond to requests within defined Service Level Objectives (SLO).
Experience: Candidates must have experience in Database or Systems Administration (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, UNIX) and a background in security, ideally on the identity management side. Experience implementing service accounts within database platforms is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with CyberArk is a mandatory skill for this position.
- Security certifications such as CISS, C-Risk, or Sec+.
- Experience with the ServiceNow ticketing system.
- Experience with AWS Aurora.
