Location: Boulder, Colorado (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $25-27/hr
We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to partner with the procurement team to execute purchasing needs. The role involves maintaining visibility into departmental budgets and ensuring compliance with internal policies and audit controls. This position serves as the primary point of contact for procurement-related activities within an assigned department and requires a detail-oriented and organized individual capable of cross-functional collaboration.
- Serve as the central intake point for departmental purchasing requests and work with stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
- Partner with Procurement to ensure sourcing and purchasing align with established processes.
- Create and manage purchase requisitions in SAP, ensuring accurate coding and proper documentation.
- Acknowledge receipt and acceptance of goods and services, confirming deliveries align with purchase orders.
- Complete receiving confirmations in SAP to support timely invoice processing and coordinate the resolution of discrepancies.
- Ensure all purchasing and receiving activities comply with procurement policies and audit standards.
- Utilize a corporate P-Card for approved purchases and ensure proper reconciliation and compliance.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Two years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or finance support roles.
Technical Skills:
- Experience working with ERP Systems, with a preference for SAP purchase order and invoicing experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience in a procurement or supply chain organization.
- Familiarity with MAS requirements and procurement compliance standards.
- Experience in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of document control, audit processes, or financial tracking.
