Job#: 3037681
Job Description:
Project Scope
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Project Manager to lead the transition of corporate security systems to new enterprise platforms. This role will focus on managing system migrations, ensuring regulatory compliance (including NERC standards), and coordinating secure access for thousands of users during a large-scale HR and financial systems integration.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project execution within the Corporate Security portfolio, managing the transition of systems from legacy environments to new enterprise platforms.
- Oversee the migration and implementation of key security systems, including C-Cure (physical badging), Everbridge (mass communications), and Archer (business continuity and risk documentation).
- Drive data migration efforts across core security platforms, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security throughout the transition process.
- Own and manage cutover planning and execution, including Release readiness and post-go-live stabilization activities.
- Maintain full ownership of project delivery, including schedules, budgets, risk management, issue tracking, and executive-level reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Corporate Security, IT application support, and third-party partners (including Accenture) to ensure alignment and successful execution.
- Develop and manage a structured site-by-site transition plan, overseeing phased migrations across multiple locations on a defined cadence.
- Oversee regression testing activities and validate that all systems are functioning as expected following migration and deployment.
- Ensure all security systems and processes meet regulatory and compliance requirements, including adherence to NERC standards.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and gaps, and drive timely resolution to maintain project momentum.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex IT concepts into clear, business-friendly messaging.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of project management experience, preferably within IT security, infrastructure, or compliance-driven environments.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries with a strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as NERC.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional enterprise projects involving system migrations or transformations.
- Strong experience with cutover planning, deployment coordination, and post-implementation support.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, issue resolution, and maintaining project governance across complex initiatives.
- Ability to effectively manage and influence stakeholders, including non-technical business teams and senior leadership.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong organizational and execution skills, with a focus on driving progress, accountability, and on-time delivery.
- Experience overseeing testing efforts such as regression validation to ensure system stability after implementation.
