**Requirements**:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Eligible to receive a SAP clearance (Special Access Program)
  • 12+ years of experience working with Data or in a Data related field
  • Ability to develop and implement a robust data management framework that ensures the integrity, accessibility, security, and compliance of data throughout its lifecycle 
  • Ability to manage data quality, security, usage, and sharing across the information enterprise and manage sharing across special program systems

 

Title: Data Architect

Location(s): 100% on site in Rosslyn, VA

Duration: Long term contract

Pay rate on contract: $70 - 80 per hour contingent upon experience 

 

Job Description:

 

As a Data Architect, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to lead the design of data governance solutions for special enclave environments. You’ll resolve routine data governance-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by driving changes to policy and establishing a data governance framework to drive consistent tagging, tracking, transmission and communication of data and data assets. 

 

In this role, you’ll share your technical expertise, introduce best practices, and influence the comparison and employment of relevant tools . You’ll lead your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered. 

 

You Have:  

  • 12 years of experience working with data or in a data-related field  
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy regulations (e.g., DoDI 8500.01, RMF, NIST SP 800-53) and how they relate to data governance.
  • Ability to develop and implement a robust data management framework that ensures the integrity, accessibility, security, and compliance of data throughout its lifecycle  
  • Ability to manage data quality, security, usage, and sharing across the information enterprise and manage sharing across special program systems.
  • A Master's Degree - or a Bachelor's degree with an additional 2 years of experience in a data-related field

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience supporting an Office of the Secretary of War or associated office.
  • Knowledge of the policy process and the authorities and responsibilities of components that are relevant to advancing data policy and strategy that impacts the enterprise. 
  • Ability to design a data governance framework that outlines roles, responsibilities, processes, and policies for managing data across the enterprise.
  • Clearance - Prior approval to a Special Access program 
  • Education - a Master's Degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics or Mathematics.
  • Certification - N/A.
