Senior Technical Analyst – Ansible / Linux (Enterprise Infrastructure)

Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to support enterprise infrastructure initiatives with a focus on automation, patch management, and server administration. This individual will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing large-scale environments across both Linux and Windows platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible for infrastructure and security patching
• Administer and support Red Hat Linux environments, including patching, upgrades, and performance optimization
• Provide advanced technical support across enterprise infrastructure including servers, storage, and network components
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and lead resolution efforts across infrastructure environments
• Collaborate with internal teams to plan, prioritize, and execute infrastructure projects and upgrades
• Support data centre operations, including hardware lifecycle, installations, and maintenance

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure/support environments
• 5–8+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible automation (enterprise scale)
• 5–8+ years of experience managing Red Hat Linux server environments
• Strong experience with infrastructure patching, automation, and system administration
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues

Nice-to-Have

• Experience working in Microsoft-heavy environments (Windows Server, Active Directory)
• Exposure to enterprise networking, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure
• Experience mentoring junior technical staff

Additional Details

• Location: Flexible / hybrid (candidate must be local and available for occasional on-site work)
• Schedule: Standard business hours with occasional after-hours support as needed
• Employment Type: Contract or Full-Time (to be determined)
