Location: Arlington, Virginia (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Materials Handler for an opportunity with a healthcare client in Arlington, VA. This position supports the Supply Chain team in managing operational volumes. The role requires individuals who possess customer service skills and a dedication to helping people within a warehouse environment. This is a 100% on-site position. Prior experience in warehouse or inventory focused environments is required.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and handle materials within a warehouse setting to support healthcare operations.
  • Assist in receiving, stocking, and distributing supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials.
  • Collaborate with the materials team to meet demands related to patient care and surgical schedules.
  • Adhere to all safety and procedural guidelines within the facility.
  • Receiving materials, supplies, and equipment, ensuring they are properly labeled and inspected. 
  • Maintaining organized storage areas, tracking inventory levels, and ensuring supplies are readily available. 
  • Distributing materials and equipment to various departments and units within the healthcare facility. 
  • Processing order documentation, tracking inventory movements, and maintaining accurate records. 
  • Loading and unloading materials, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials. 
  • Quantifying and verifying cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory. 
  • Uncrating and assembling equipment, ensuring proper labeling and inspection. 
  • Maintaining clean and organized storage areas and loading areas. 
  • Adhering to established procedures for receiving, storing, and distributing materials. 
  • Using electronic material management systems for processing materials and tracking inventory. 
  • Accounting for stock and delivering supplies. 
Work Schedule

The required shift is 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight), Sunday through Thursday - This will include a 30-minute break.
