Cyber Project Manager
Client: Top 5 Bank
Duration: 12-month contract
Work Location: Hybrid/ 2 Days in Office Downtown
Hours: 40 hr/week; Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Planning & Scheduling
o Build realistic timelines and milestones
o Sequence work properly
o Adjust plans quickly when things change.
• Risk & Issue Management
o Identify risks early
o Escalate issues with clear impact and options.
o Drive mitigation actions, not just track problems.
• Financial Discipline
o Track budget vs. actuals.
o Forecast accurately.
o Control scope to avoid cost overruns
• Stakeholder & Expectation Management
o Set clear expectations upfront.
o Push back when needed (scope, timelines, resources).
o Ensure decision-makers understand trade-offs.
Must-Have Skills:
• 7+ years relevant experience with start-to-end delivery
• Experience with Cyber Security project delivery, AI project delivery, working experience in federal regulated industry (financial institution)
• Excellent communicator, stakeholder management \\ expectations, can interact and negotiate with C-suite executives… Ability to simplify complex technical \\ AI concepts
• Organized, punctual, confident, and diligent with regards to items in flight and deadlines
• Creative, proactive, forward thinker, can remove obstacles, takes ownership
• Strong, value, financial and schedule discipline… Thinks in outcomes, not only activities
• Comfort with changing direction based on findings\\every changing environment
• Technical knowledge: Understanding System Architecture (at a high level); SDLC & Delivery Methods; Integration
• Able to navigate high impact issues and conversations in a clear, concise, and calm manner
Nice to Have Skills:
• Someone who is a strong negotiator
