Job Description:
Location: MacDill AFB, Florida (Onsite)
This position will serve as the first point of contact for the IT Enterprise, resolving user issues to minimize operational disruptions. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and system issues across a large infrastructure, supporting end-user productivity, and ensuring seamless IT operations.
- Serve as the first point of contact for the IT Enterprise, resolving user issues quickly and efficiently.
- Enable seamless IT operations by troubleshooting hardware, software, and system issues.
- Support end-user productivity through Tier 1 Active Directory services, including account creation and password resets.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding, ensuring accounts and permissions align with requirements.
- Strengthen cross-team collaboration by escalating issues appropriately and sharing knowledge.
- Contribute to operational readiness by supporting system deployments and performing initial troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate documentation to support compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Provide reliable support during off-hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
Clearance: must be able to acquire/maintain active DOD Secret clearance
Certification: Applicable DoW 8140 or DoW 8570 Certification.
Experience: 1+ years of related experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tier 1 Active Directory tasks, experience with remote troubleshooting for desktops and software, familiarity with ticketing systems, and knowledge of networking concepts.
Abilities: This role requires problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently in a high-volume environment. Attention to detail and flexibility to support changing operational priorities are necessary.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Microsoft certifications.
- ITIL 4 Foundation Certification.
