Location: San Antonio, Texas (Onsite)

 

Role Overview

We are seeking an Associate or Mid-Level Engineering Zonal Task Leader for a dedicated shipside engineering integration role. This position supports the entire production build lifecycle of the VC-25B aircraft, from initial build through to delivery. The role involves acting as a critical engineering task leader to support the Air Vehicle Integrated Product Team across all zones.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the design engineering organization to interpret engineering drawings and provide clarification on engineering intent to various teams.
  • Provide cross-team engineering integration and drive design maturity through development, modification, and test phases.
  • Monitor the overall build and sequence for alignment with design intent and provide technical recommendations.
  • Assist in the rapid execution of engineering drawing revisions in response to production build needs.
  • Support mechanics with engineering input for improvements and clarifications.
  • Support change integration and impact assessments for the build.
  • Communicate and execute engineering prioritization within each zone.
  • Lead research of technical, operational, and quality issues and recommend engineering solutions.
Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited course of study in engineering or engineering technology is required.

 

Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in product engineering or production operations is necessary. Candidates must also have at least two years of experience in military or commercial program support.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Five or more years of related work experience.
  • Two or more years of related Shipside Engineering Support experience.
