The Information Security Governance Analyst will be responsible for applying Cyber Security and Technology Infrastructure knowledge to support the policy governance lifecycle. This role involves working with laws, rules, and regulations (LRRs) in a regulated environment. The position requires the ability to prioritize work, execute defined processes, identify adherence controls, and manage risk reduction within the policy governance lifecycle.
- Apply knowledge of Cyber Security, Technology Infrastructure, and LRRs to support the policy governance lifecycle.
- Prioritize work and execute defined processes for policy governance.
- Identify adherence controls to policy and identify gaps in coverage.
- Assist in managing risk reduction in a policy governance lifecycle.
- Support the alignment of regulations, processes, and controls to policy.
- Contribute to ongoing adherence monitoring governance activities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and leaders to analyze and convey complex data.
- Develop and report on progress against assigned tasks.
Experience: Experience supporting information security or technology-related policies in a regulated environment is required. Background in Data Governance and Info Security Policy is necessary.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with CyberSecurity principles and Microsoft Word is required.
- Background supporting Information Security policy, including Laws, Rules, and Regulations.
- Ability to analyze and interpret applicable laws, rules, and regulations and align them to policies.
- Capacity to provide legal and regulatory guidance regarding firm policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Skill in identifying, understanding, and prioritizing customer needs to provide solutions and resolve problems.
- Ability to use past knowledge and experience to find solutions and define a course of action.
- Capability to analyze and interpret data and trends to inform and communicate statistical analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with senior leaders and technically-minded SMEs.
- Ability to deconstruct complicated processes to identify and validate adherence to LRRs and Policy.
