We are hiring Full Stack Developer Professional!
Role: Full Stack Developer Professional (Python/SQL – Data & Microservices Focus)
Supporting: Large Financial Services Client
Location: Onsite – McLean, VA
Assignment Type: Contract Only
Duration: ~6 Months
Role Overview: We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven developer to build and support scalable data solutions and microservices in a fast-paced environment. This is a coding-heavy role focused on developing Python-based applications, designing robust data pipelines, and working across multiple data sources to deliver impactful business solutions. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented problem solvers who thrive in cloud environments and enjoy working with large datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and enhance Python-based microservices to support data-driven applications
- Develop complex SQL queries and optimize data processing performance
- Design and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and reporting
- Integrate and manage data from multiple enterprise sources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Develop and consume REST APIs for seamless application integration
- Leverage AWS and Snowflake to support cloud-based development and data solutions
- Execute testing and ensure code quality through modern CI/CD practices
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Python (microservices, FastAPI or Django, pandas/numpy)
- Advanced SQL skills, including writing queries from scratch
- Experience working within cloud environments (AWS required; Snowflake preferred)
- Experience building or supporting data pipelines and ETL processes
- Familiarity with development tools such as Git, Docker, Jenkins, and Jira
- Experience with API development and data integration
- Exposure to data processing/orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, or similar)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred:
- Experience with Tableau or other reporting tools
- Exposure to cloud-based ETL and data pipeline orchestration
- Experience with identity/authentication integrations (OAuth)
Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $45.00 and $66.13 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.
